Ninth Planet’s newest live wallpaper for android is now, well, live!
This one features a recurring theme for us: Mr. Sun! He’s smilin’, he’s happy, he’s flippin’ cool.
Anywho, Mr. Sun @ Home has been released.
Expect more Mr. Sun scenes to come!
You can now adjust the line size, the degree of straightness to the path (from the original roaming to massively straight), add shadows to the lines and turn the background on to watch only the first part of the line move around the screen.

When I was at my most impressionable I had the experience of watching the movie “Sneakers”. Whether this was good thing or a bad thing I’ll leave up to you to decide but what’s important is this–the scene where Ben Kingsley has Robert Redford in his lair and they’re walking around, talking, etc. introduced me to two things:
Regardless, I was thinking about both of them this past week and came up with this image. Enjoy!
Also, find this on redbubble: Cray Supercomputer
And the debut app for Ninth Planet Studios has been released.

Description:
Roaming Lines is a generative art piece that creates a random number of lines that will run about on your wallpaper.
Each line obtains its color randomly but is constrained within the realms of black and white. The line’s path is also determined randomly so that they appear to roam around the wallpaper. Both of these features combine to create an image that slowly turns into a spider’s web of ever changing depth.
Because this program is randomly generated each time you start the program you are presented with a truly unique and ephemeral experience.
